There has been a hiatus with Radio Ratbags to allow a reconstruction of the web site, the conversion to using WordPress blogging software, and the installation and testing of new recording equipment and software. Plus recovering from a broken ankle and other minor irritations.
Everything is now in place and regular episodes are scheduled to start appearing in May, 2013.
I apologise for being away, but it will all be worth it when regular podcasting starts again.
On September 20, 2010, I appeared with Tony Pitman on the Reality Check radio program on JOY 94.9FM in Melbourne. The topic was the problem of quackery receiving celebrity endorsement by Dr Kerryn Phelps, a former President of the Australian Medical Association. It’s bad enough when anonymous doctors go over to the dark side but the potential for damage is much greater when the doctor in question is not just photogenic television material but has been at one time accepted by doctors as the person to publicly represent them as a group.
