The name of the Canadian law firm mentioned is "Merovitz Potechin". Lawyers are particularly sensitive about how their firm names are written. (I am on a committee with a senior lawyer from the firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He once asked that the minutes of a meeting be amended because a comma had been included in the firm's name.)
Senator Alston is the Minister FOR CommunicationS, Information Technology and the Arts. The organisation within his portfolio which has responsibility for Internet content is the Australian Broadcasting Authority. Mr O'Neill has been referred several times to the ABA web site and the page where complaints about Internet content can be registered.

There is no "Minister of External Affairs" in the Government of Canada. Until recently, the Honourable Lloyd Axworthy was the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but this position is how held by the Honourable John Manley.
