The Millenium Project

A nice, but unsuccessful, try

On December 3, 2001, someone tried to create an anonymous email account, gebesse@anonymous.to. I can only assume that this was to be used to send fraudulent messages apparently coming from my employer. The image below shows some of the information entered in the application. You would think that if I were to create something like this, I would spell my street name and suburb correctly and also use the correct postcode. (Any Australian would be aware that a postcode starting with "3" would be in Victoria, not New South Wales. Canadians might not know this, however.) The significant clue was the occupation, "Unemployed/Between Jobs", which reminded me of something I had read somewhere else. How many times has Mr O'Neill said that I am broke or unemployed? 71 at last count. Wrong every time.
