I assume this refers to the error message received from Tripod on 16 January. The messages might have been snet, but the list of email addresses was incorrectly formed so they were not delivered. That is why the message saying "Your message could not be sent to:" was snet to me (actually it was snet to "concerned@ratbags.com"). GAL will just have to sned it again. Observant people will also note that this message was received by me at a domain name I no longer own! (It "owns" ratbags.com! What a hoot!) Not only that, but it came in after one saying "This is the last mail you'll receive!", indicating once again GAL's pathological need to lie.

Not too long ago I came across your site and was so facsinated I decided I'd investigate you. What a success story!

Successes aside, your government regulators were very interested in my views of your site and all those "immutable facts" you publish and broadcast. So much so, they asked and I provided "public input" to the ABA concerning their hearings on "Libel and Defamation on the Internet". Seems the ABA needs evidence and input for their final draft of what constitutes libel and defamation on the internet and you and your site are fine examples from witch they can finalize their draft. It's sort of like having a look at the offspring of 1st cousins and then passing legislation.

In the meantime, they asked that I sit down with their legal people to further review your sites. What a treat!

You should be congratulated for all your efforts and the upcoming testing of the waters. We're sure you have the necessary bevy of lawyers and personal resources to defend your position and particulary for those who come after you once the flood gates are open.

Before I forget, one another initally overlooked element of your actions is publishing private correspondence without the authour's consent. Seems this "little" matter has been acted upon by the ABA and those authours have been contacted to discern their consent. Most have responded and it seems they have not provided you with consent, and some have complained to your ISP without results. The ABA doesn't like this, and of course your ISP in now under their scrutiny.

It's going to be a delicious day when you get nailed by your own!

Incidentally, I provided those interested, with a copy of a statement of claim in America that names you in a libel and defamation action for 10,000,000.00 Us dollars. Seems as though this will be entered into the "record", so to speak, as an excellent objective example of the "problem".

I'd wish you good luck, but at this point it appears to running out quite quickly, so break a leg!

I can imagine them (if they existed outside GAL's imagination) falling about laughing around the water cooler. There are 15 mentions of the word "defamation" on the Australian Broadcasting Authority web site, but none of them occurs within the expression "Libel and Defamation on the Internet", so I guess we will just have to chalk this up as another lie from Mr O'Nonymous.

As an example of internet libel and defamation, with an abdundance of self-published evidence, it was hardly necessary to be "graced" with your presence. Nor was it difficult in discerning internet issues concerning the broadcast of private corrpespondence and relevant international copyright conventions. Seems regulators have decided when the time comes you and your ISP will receive correspondence and you won't be publishing it in your little scrap book for all to see.

There's also interest in your "little" company, from a tax perspective, and your "professional" associations, from a public funding perspective.

If GAL weren't so funny it would be sad to see the pathetic thing flailing about. All it has to do is send me copies of the correspondence (or even corrpespondence, if it likes) that it lies it has received from the Australian government. Just one fax. Instead it hides behind an anonymous remailer, too frightened to even reveal its name. Even if Mr O'Nonymous can't work the fax machine with the straps on, surely it could ask one of the psych nurses to push the buttons for it.

Yes, folks, the beloved William P O'Neill of the Canadian Cancer Research Group and its descendants has gone to the great cesspit in the sky, taking the Gutless Anonymous Liar with him. Sadly, he died quickly and not of cancer. I posted a message to his memorial guest book, but unfortunately some technical glitch prevented it from being published.

I will maintain my own memorial to him here by archiving his correspondence with me and also the wonderful messages he sent wearing his Gutless Anonymous Liar mask. It would be a tragedy for this valuable collection of literature to disappear.
